Aeropark is settled by terminal 2 of Liszt Ferenc International Airport, and presents the development of Hungarian public flying in the last 60 years. A wide variety of planes are exhibited from a Li-2 airplane model (which is one of the most successful airplane types ever manufactured) to a Tu-154 or a still active type L-410. Beside airplanes, numerous tools and vehicles serving at the airport are also presented here. During their stay our visitors may also try our airplane simulator free of charge, so they can experience what it is like to actually drive an airplane.

The outdoor exhibition opened at the beginning of the 90s – in several stages –, at the beginning welcomed guests on the foreground of terminal 2B. Iconic types were added to the collection continuously, types which were withdrawn by MALÉV.

The development of the new site of Aeropark and the moving of the museum started on the 23rd of March in 2017 – the institution got a larger and more exclusive exhibition place. The outdoor museum had moved to the neighbourhood of Road 4 and Ferihegy overpass due to developments accomplished on the site of the airport; this way the significant airplane types of Hungarian aviation history received an even more spectacular exhibition space. The exhibition re-opened at the end of June. A realistic, miniature runway was built as well, which is more than twenty meters long. Most planes exhibited in the outdoor airplane museum belong to the Museum of Transport; beside 11 aircrafts we also find oldtimer airport vehicles in the collection. Due to the new location, the visitors may even see how flights approach 31L runway at a low height, just above their heads. Popular airport visits also start from here.
